GIN

The GIN (Government Issuance Number) is a number that is between the government and the person that has the number. The GIN will typically be for citizens, but expats, and even foreigners will be able to acquire a GIN. This is because the GIN is required for doing any form of business with a business within Kaldus. Someone for example can purchase a few computers from Kaldus Computer Industries, but a large purchase order will require to set up an account with KCI, and that requires a GAON, and a GAON can only be acquired if the applicant has a GIN.

Unlike most countries, the Kaldan government will provide a GIN to anyone that would need one. The process will depend on whether the person was born in Kaldus or not. In either instance, a DNA sample will be required to create a GIN. This would likely be done within a couple of days of birth. When the child is old enough to acquire their GIN, they will go to the HHS office, and prove their identity with a DNA comparison test.

Any citizen that exist now before Kaldus becomes a country will need to go to their doctor’s office to get a DNA test done. This test will also require proof of identity such as an old ID card, birth certificate, and other unique identifying markers. Once the DNA swab is submitted, the HHS will store that information, and create a GIN. The person can then go to HHS, and acquire their GIN, as well as learning how to use it properly.

Foreigners will have a little harder time, and a slightly more expensive endeavor to get a GIN. This number is required if the foreigner will wish to conduct a subscription based service from a business in Kaldus. An example might be to acquire a SIP telephone number, or a .ka domain from Ka-Tel. In order to acquire a GIN, the foreigner will need to acquire a DNA kit from Kaldus’ HHS. This kit will cost $250, and will be sent via a global priority mail option. The foreigner will acquire their kit, and fill out a form which will ask for a UID, password, and email address for recovery. They will also need a passport approved photo for their NIN card that they will receive by global priority mail. The kit will come with a return mail process, and mail back box for everything that the foreigner will need to provide. Once the DNA is added, and compared with other DNA entries (to eliminate duplicate GINs), then the foreigner will receive an email to where they will be told their account has been created. They will then need to https://gov.ka/login to login and acquire their GIN, NIN, and setup any GAONs they may need. The site will have an ID card .png file that they will be able to download which will be required for online account activations.
