Government Businesses

A government business is a business owned by the government, but the board members are made up of professionals. For example, an accountant is VP of Finance. A business comes in 2 forms. A standard business, and a monopoly. Both types of businesses will operate as if they have competition, and essential resources must be affordable. The threshold will depend on what kind of business is being talked about. All businesses will have to answer to the government if wrong-doing was caught, and may face prison terms, and removal from the board.

Both types of businesses can go on the Kaldan stock exchange. The ticker for that business will always be their .ka domain (4-10 characters). This allows a potential investor to know the web address of the company’s site by simply typing in the ticker + .ka into the web browser.

All government businesses must have a simple login address for online management. This will always be their domain/login. For example, Ka-Tel which is a government owned business must have their login portal accessible at https://ka-tel.ka/login. This is to keep things simple, and the company can also choose to have a login field on the home page as well, but this is not required.

Monopolies

A monopoly is a business that has exclusive rights to resources and capabilities. However, when it comes to essential resources, then someone only receiving GBI must be able to afford basic essential services. However, since they are the only ones in the business, all customers will have to use that company if they wish to have services in that area.

Standard Business

A standard business is a business that is not a monopoly. Since the business receives backing of the government, they can afford to make the prices more reasonable. For resources that are essential, they must be affordable to anyone that is receiving low-income. In turn, the company will be protected from bankruptcy, and therefore be a more viable solution. As with any business, they will have to answer to the senate if caught doing something wrong.
