IDs

There are three numbers of importance. These numbers will be provided to every citizen of the nation. The reason for such numbers will be to protect the identity of the citizen. For example, in the US – there is the Social Security Number which was used as a means of identification, but one can assume that their SSN is on the dark web, and that means any bad actor can have your number if they want it. The identification numbers are intended to eliminate. such concerns, and issues.

Getting Your Numbers

The GIN (Government Issuance Number) is issued at birth, and will be unique to that individual. At birth, the newborn will have a cheek swab for DNA integration. This information will be sent to HHS which will generate a GIN. Since DNA is unique even with twins. This is the best of least invasive way of verifying existence. When the person is old enough, they will go to HHS to acquire their GIN, along with instructions on how it is to be used, and why it should never be given out. The GIN should be given to nobody except the government, and only when the person calls the government. No government official will call the person requiring their GIN.

The National ID Number (NIN) is a public number, and there is no real negative consequence for anyone to know this number. In a matter of fact, the NIN will also be your bank account number with the Kaldan National Bank. Therefore, it stands to reason that this number is pretty public. The only time this number may attempt to be used for nefarious purposes is if a hacker tried to hack into the government portal, or try to social engineer for creating an account. However, even this is not possible.

Then there is is the GAON (Government Authorization Order Number) which is different for every entity the citizen will associate with, and can only be used once. The GAON will be issued as needed, and no more than 3 GAONs at one time for that citizen can be set up. Once the account is created, the GAON expires. The citizen has 30 days to use the GAON before it expires. The citizen will provide their GAON for that service offering, and their NIN. These will have to match with what’s on record. This means no one can just use your GAON without your ID, or NIN.
